What Happens On The Day

Now in its 14th year, right here at Eastnor Castle – 4 great firework displays! Three of the UK’s best firework companies compete against each other with a 10-minute spectacular firework display choreographed to music followed by a breath-taking, huge finale display. The types of fireworks being used by the companies are unlike any material used for fireworks available to the general public, each company uses category 4 fireworks, which are only for professional use and the biggest available in the UK.

After gazing at the illuminating fireworks and lasers, watching all the teams battle for the Fireworks Champions title, the audience has all the power in their hands (through their mobile phone) to decide the winner. How exciting! Texts will be charged at normal rates and a limit of 1 vote per number is in place. Each voting number receives a text back with the results.

Skydazzle Pyrotechnics was formed in 2004 and is a family run business where we all share a real passion for Fireworks. We have an enviable reputation for providing innovative Musical Firework Displays using our extensive Digital Fire by Wire Firing System together with our own high quality Sound Systems.. We specialise in providing Pyromusical Displays for all budgets and really enjoy the challenge of choreographing Fireworks to Music.

We were thrilled when we were voted Firework Champions at Eastnor Castle in 2023 after winning here in 2019 making us undefeated Firework Champions at Eastnor Castle. That was going to be our last show at Firework Champions before we retired, but we were asked to do the closing display in 2024 and we could not say no! This will be our last show before finally retiring.

We have spent many hours designing our display tonight using MLE's designer software and it will be fired using their Fire By Wire system. We have chosen some of the best Fireworks currently available here in the UK from Spain, Italy and of course China.

We hope everyone enjoys our Pyromusical as much as we have enjoyed designing it for this Firework Champions event at Eastnor Castle, I am sure my Wife and I will have a few tears in our eyes as the last song in our display ends. We would like to thank everyone that has voted for us over the years and to MLE for providing us with the opportunity to showcase what Skydazzle does best.

How to get around

How To Get There

Drive

Eastnor lies between the Cotswolds and the Welsh Marches. The Castle is 2½ miles east of Ledbury on the A438 Tewkesbury Road.
Journey Times to Eastnor
Central London 2½ hours, Manchester 2 hours, Birmingham 1 hour Bristol 1 hour Cardiff 1 hour.
For Visitors using a sat nav, please bear in mind that the map may not be up to date, so please ignore the directions as you approach Eastnor and Clenchers Mill Lane and follow the Brown Tourist signs. This is because a number of sat nav providers are currently directing you the wrong way.

Directions from London
Take M4 West.
Exit M4 at junction 15 (Swindon).
Follow A419/A417 to Cirencester and Gloucester (Dual Carriageway).
Before Gloucester exit A417 onto M5 North (towards Birmingham) at junction 11A and continue as if from North or South.

Directions from North or South
Exit M5 at junction 8 onto M50.
Exit M50 at junction 2 Follow A417 to Ledbury.
Follow the Brown Tourist signs (Eastnor Castle) via bypass and through Ledbury Town Centre onto A449 (signed Worcester and Malvern).
After 1 mile turn right again onto A438 (signed Tewkesbury and Eastnor), and the entrance to Castle is after 1 mile on the right hand side.

Ledbury – 2 miles (Direct train from/to London Paddington – duration 2.45hrs)
Great Malvern – 8 miles (Direct train from/to London Paddington – duration 2.30hrs)
Gloucester – 19 miles (Direct train from/to London Paddington – duration 1.50hrs)

Taxis are available and pre-booking is advisable.
