What Happens On The Day

Right here at Hatfield House & Park – 4 great firework displays! Three of the UK’s best firework companies compete against each other with a 10-minute spectacular firework display choreographed to music followed by a breath-taking, huge finale display. The types of fireworks being used by the companies are unlike any material used for fireworks available to the general public, each company uses category 4 fireworks, which are only for professional use and the biggest available in the UK.

The event is the only one of its type in the UK where the audience can vote for the team they liked the most using their mobile phone. Texts will be charged at normal rates and a limit of 1 vote per number is in place. Each voting number receives a text back with the results.

Hatfield House 2024 TEAMS

TEAM 1
Star fireworks

TEAM 2

Ashdown Fireworks began following a chance meeting between Peter Roe and Fred Cornwell in1997. The Fireworks magazine had advertised a course in pyrotechnic chemistry to be held at RARDE in Kent, and presented by the world-renowned Ken and Bonnie Kosanke. Opportunities like that are rare and you always meet interesting people. So began the relationship which over the years has resulted in some of the most varied displays of fireworks and special effects attracting spectators from far and wide.

TEAM 3

Selstar Fireworks Ltd are proud to be competing in The Firework Champions at Hatfield house and are extremely excited to be putting on a display for the thousands of spectators.

The Company was started over 25 years ago and has developed a high level of creativity and professionalism enabling us to create unique firework displays for each individual client. Having been awarded British Fireworks Champions twice and becoming Champions of Champions in 2019 our team are looking forward to the challenge alongside our other competitors.

Our aim is to entertain you using a vast selection of effects and products sourced from around the world fired with rhythm and patterns to bring the sky to life. The team looks forward to seeing everyone there for an evening of sky filled entertainment and wishes all the teams involved the best of luck.

Closing Display

Smart Pyrotechnics are delighted to be joining this year’s Fireworks Champions at Stanford

Hall. This will be our second time participating in a Fireworks Champions show and we hope

to continue on from 2021 with another winning show but with some tough competition this

year we will need to bring something special to impress the audience.
