COVID-19 questions (2021 events)

Do I have to wear a mask / face covering?

For outdoors you are not currently required to wear a face covering but please do so if you wish to. We encourage people to wear one and all of our staff are being issued them. You might want to consider wearing one when moving from your personal space to say the toilets.

Will I be shown where to sit in the audience field?

If you are parking in the normal car park and walking to the arena site, you will find walkways marked out with pin and line. You can choose any of the boxes marked out. Each box can contain on average 147 people socially distancing by 2 metres from average group to group. You must socially distance as per government guidelines - it is your responsibility to do so.

Will I be shown where to park in the drive in field?

Yes, the stewards will direct you where to park. If you are parking and walking to the arena follow the normal parking. If you have a drive-in permit and parking to sit next to your car in an allocated large space then follow "Drive-In". One £20 Drive-In permit needed per car + valid entry tickets.

Will there be hand sanitiser readily available in the audience site?

There will be hand sanitiser available at all toilets and around the site. Please bring your own hand sanitiser.

Will we be able to roam around the audience site like in previous years, or will we have to stay put in our designated area?

We ask that you stay in your location unless going to the toilet or visiting a food vendor. Please try and adopt the rule of only going to the toilet one at a time where possible. Also reduce the number of people walking to food vendors where possible. You must distance by 2 metres from others outside your family/bubble as per government guidelines. It is your responsibility to do so.

Will camping be allowed in 2021?

We are currently waiting to hear. If you wish to add camping at a later date we will do waiving the extra booking fee.

Can I bring a gazebo if I'm in the Drive-In?

No - the view will be obstructed to those behind you.

How safe is it?

We've worked with independent experts in environmental health at events. Out experts work weekly on events and filming projects. We have also worked with the SAG (safety advisory group) for the relevant local council extensively. All procedures and Covid-19 secure guidelines are followed to ensure the event is less of a concern than visiting your local supermarket.

DRIVE IN

How much is it?

You pay £20 per car. This enables you to drive to a marked out area, park and watch the show next to your car.

You also need entry tickets, 1 per adult and 1 per child.

So a car with 2 adults would pay:
2 x adult tickets + 1 x drive in car permit (£20)

Can I bring a gazebo?

No - not if you are in the drive-in section. It obstructs the view for those behind.

How are you marking the field?

We invested in a robotic GPS line marking robot which enable us to paint the field with white lines to 2cm accuracy. This has become so valuable for events we are being contracted to paint other outdoor events. www.eventmarking.co.uk
