Amongst the finest in Europe, the Gardens have been created over the last 250 years by successive generations of the same family. They offer an unusual blend of long history and traditional design with inspired modern ideas and additions, giving them character. The result is a garden rich in atmosphere, interest and vitality.

Within its eight acres of a formal garden, which can take you several hours to meander around, there are many different areas, each with a distinctive character and a story to tell.

What Happens On The Day

Right here at Hatfield House & Park – 4 great firework displays! Three of the UK’s best firework companies compete against each other with a 10-minute spectacular firework display choreographed to music followed by a breath-taking, huge finale display. The types of fireworks being used by the companies are unlike any material used for fireworks available to the general public, each company uses category 4 fireworks, which are only for professional use and the biggest available in the UK.

The event is the only one of its type in the UK where the audience can vote for the team they liked the most using their mobile phone. Texts will be charged at normal rates and a limit of 1 vote per number is in place. Each voting number receives a text back with the results.

Phase One was born from the desire to deliver unique displays to clients across the country, using the latest in design and firing system technology means we are able to stay at the leading edge of show development.

Having previously won Firework Champions at Stanford Hall, Eastnor Castle and Belvoir Castle the whole team is really looking forward to putting on our display alongside the other teams and seeing 4 stunning displays on the night.

TEAM 2

Fully Fused Fireworks has been lighting up the skies for over three decades, dazzling audiences both in the UK and around the world. Back in 2024 we wowed crowds in Australia and Madeira, where we were announced the winner at The Madeira Atlantic Festival 2024 and were awarded 2nd place at Surfers paradise, Australia. 2025 brings more excitement for the display team here at Fully Fused as we prepare for our next competition entry in Spain, July 2025.

Whilst our international display team are out firing shows across the globe, we have a strong team of over 65 pyrotechnicians providing shows here in the UK to assist our full-
time employees to deliver spectacular Firework and Pyrotechnic displays. Fields, roofs, barges, docksides and structures, small intimate parties through to high profile events – we have your event covered.

Fully Fused are direct importers of Professional Fireworks, sourcing only the highest quality materials from top suppliers in China and Europe. Our team has years of manufacturing experience and a deep understanding of firework effects, techniques, and product quality from around the world. Our international fireworks display team at Hatfield House comprises 6 experienced pyrotechnicians, some with over 40 years of experience in the industry. They've helped deliver displays at iconic events around the world including more recent events in the Netherlands and Saint Vincent for NYE 2024-25. The team will be using the world renowned FireOne firing system to deliver our display to you at Firework Champions.

Frontier Fireworks were established in 1996 with the help of the Princes Youth Business Trust. We came into the fireworks industry from an athletics background and simply for the love of fireworks.

We have been providing professional fireworks displays services for nearly thirty years now, showcasing our own fireworks and individual skillset to hundreds of thousands of people across the UK.

We are perhaps well known for emotive, artistic displays where we like to use different types of music to enhance our audience enjoyment and emotional involvement.

We also sell fireworks to the general public and have a wide range of DIY fireworks to choose from on our website.

Our team of pyrotechnicians really are an eclectic group of people who come from all walks of life. We initially started the business with a tight group of family and friends who worked with us before we expanded.

Over the past years we have continually accepted more people into our company who fit the team ethos.

We use the Cobra Wireless Firing System for musical accuracy and this enables us to perform wide, creative displays in fields and on all types of structures and surfaces.

Frontier Fireworks really has taken us on many different routes and adventures. Working with the RAF Red Arrows team for their special 50th Anniversary season was a big favourite over the years.

Sometimes even smaller displays where we were given the opportunity to hold the Paralympic Flame in 2012 was a special moment in time.

Going back to our roots also in 2012 was working for Lord Moynihan and The Olympic Ball Committee for two very special displays leading up to the London Olympics. So many great clients but just as important, so many great memories over the years.

Event Postcode is AL9 5AE (Walk In) – AL9 5PG (Car Entrance)

By Road: Hatfield House is 21 miles from Central London, 7 miles North of the M25 motorway (junction 23) and 2 miles East of the A1(M) (junction 4). Exit the A1(M) at junction 4 (after the Hatfield Tunnel if travelling from the South) and follow the brown leisure signs for Hatfield House via the A414 and A1000.

The pedestrian entrance to Hatfield Park is opposite Hatfield railway station. The fast train from Kings Cross to Hatfield takes 20 minutes. There are London Underground links with this mainline at Finsbury Park (Piccadilly and Victoria lines). Local bus services regular drop off at Hatfield railway station.

Dynamite Fireworks started with humble beginnings in 2018. We offer up firework displays for all occasions including Birthdays, Weddings, Corporate events, Bonfire and Christmas Lights. We have been seen working alongside Rolls Royce, various Councils, Schools, and British American Football Association in recent years as well as lots of Weddings and Events throughout the summer months.

As the business started we were mainly a group of family and friends, now a big family of like-minded pyro enthusiasts who love what we do. The business has somewhat grown in recent years, and Fireworks Champions has most certainly played a key part in that in enabling ourselves to push those boundaries.

We have previously competed at Firework Champions and lucky enough to win at Ragley Hall and Newby Hall. As well as supplying the Closing shows in the following years at those events. In 2024 we came Runners-Up at the British Musical Fireworks Competition.

Established in 2016 our Company has gone from strength to strength, having won our first Firework Champions competition in 2017 at Eastnor Castle.

In 2023, our Display Designer Ash Merrick took over at the helm and since then, we have performed our pyro mastery all over the UK and are looking forward to continued success in the future.

We offer bespoke firework displays, both musical and none musical, stage pyrotechnics and special effects for all events. Based in the Midlands, we have a crew with over 75 years experience behind us.

CHASE LANE FIREWORKS

Chase Lane Fireworks is a professional display company based in the ancient City of Gloucester with a fairly large retail arm

We like to think of ourselves as small, but perfectly formed. We are currently limited to four lead firers and eight crew; the Dirty
but Delightful Dozen, you might say!

Everything from lower-noise shows for the more sensitive clients and venues out here in the West Country (which is usually knee-deep in horses, cows, sheep etc),
right the way up to full-on, jaw-dropping, thunder-recreating shows for the more well-
off clients!

We average 85-90 shows a year, mainly in the field of weddings,
corporate events, anniversary parties (and even, astonishingly, a divorce party!),
topping off our repertoire with our very own events management and delivery
capability which, in four years, has risen from a single “tester” event up to ten
confirmed (and climbing) events this year!!

Mainly in the West Country, but with coverage up into the West Midlands and down
into North Somerset. We also do the occasional show over in the London area and have even ventured into Wales!

Due to the backgrounds of several of our crew, we also have a big “in” with several of the military establishments in the West Country.

We’re available all year round, but generally spend January to March getting the
year ready with mountains of kit husbandry and maintenance, document updating,
admin up the ying-yang and of course attending as many wedding shows,

fayres, showcases and demos as possible trying to drum up new business and gigs for the year! Late March/Easter is the time when our wedding year kicks off and this will spin
through right into November and December.

Our “Silly Season”, as we like to call it –weekend-to-weekend-to-weekend from Hallowe’en through to Bonfire Night – is
usually flat-out crazy – 2024 saw us deliver 23 shows (including four of our own
events (see above)) – in 10 days!! Best description?

Simply put, we’re flat-out busy, but we all love our professional, paid and noisy
hobby!!

We have the ability to deliver across a wide range of systems, but prefer to use
Cobra ® for 98% of our work. Its versatility and modularised set-up means we have
very little to worry about.

t’s ease-of-use, allied to Cobra’s ® excellent customer support (the 5-hour time difference to the USA helps a lot!!) means the training burden on our crews is minimal.

We tend to look at it from the point of view of locking in deals with local venues,
whether they be 3- or 5-year deals with wedding specialist venues and public performance venues (for our own events delivery)

or simply getting “exclusive
supplier” status with the many hotels etc at which we deliver shows and displays.

Galaxy Fireworks has been lighting up the sky's for 19 years offering private, corporate and public events.

Generally we use FireTek as our main firing system but also FireOne and Cobra at some displays.

This is our second time at Firework Champions and after a few issues last time out we are hoping for a better showing this time around.

We've had a few stand out shows including The British Musical Firework Championships at Southport, the homecoming of the Isle of Man's flagship vessel the Manxman for the Steampacket Company and last years Festival of Fireworks.

AJ Pyrotechnics is a small family run firework company based in Kent but with a big reputation.

We were born out of the love and thrill of seeing fireworks and all the team who work here are passionate about what we do and what we deliver.

Formed in 2008, we were not initially active on the competitive display circuit, but MLE persuaded us to compete several years ago at the Stanford Hall Firework Champions and since then we have become regular competitors and haven’t looked back!

Last year our hard work paid off with a well deserved win at Firework Champions at Arley Hall.

Gaining experience from Firework Champions and by being in the company of some of the best firework display companies in the UK has raised our status and we are now well known on the National competition circuit having taken part in The British Championships at Plymouth and at the British Firework Musical Championships in Southport.

It’s great to be back at Eastnor Castle and we know you are going to love our musical composition and astounding coordinated pyrotechnics which will showcase this fantastic venue.

After winning the British Musical Firework championships in 2010 & 2011, we were selected to represent the UK in the Monaco International Music Firework Championship and are delighted to announce that we won both the judges and the public award.

Drawing on over 35 years of experience and knowledge, we have grown to be an international award-winning company and crowned “Champion of Champions”

Also in 2023 Pyrotex were representing the UK in the world championships in Montreal Canada, And we are extremely proud to say we came away with ( Gold ) first place.

Since then we have been lucky enough to travel the globe in numerous prestigious competitions around the world. These competitions not only test the artistic talents of our designer’s but also the pyrotechnical ability of each team that participates along with the skills and expertise needed to put on an event of such magnitude.

How To Get There

Drive

Eastnor lies between the Cotswolds and the Welsh Marches. The Castle is 2½ miles east of Ledbury on the A438 Tewkesbury Road.
Journey Times to Eastnor
Central London 2½ hours, Manchester 2 hours, Birmingham 1 hour Bristol 1 hour Cardiff 1 hour.
For Visitors using a sat nav, please bear in mind that the map may not be up to date, so please ignore the directions as you approach Eastnor and Clenchers Mill Lane and follow the Brown Tourist signs. This is because a number of sat nav providers are currently directing you the wrong way.

Directions from London
Take M4 West.
Exit M4 at junction 15 (Swindon).
Follow A419/A417 to Cirencester and Gloucester (Dual Carriageway).
Before Gloucester exit A417 onto M5 North (towards Birmingham) at junction 11A and continue as if from North or South.

Directions from North or South
Exit M5 at junction 8 onto M50.
Exit M50 at junction 2 Follow A417 to Ledbury.

Celestial Firework Displays are a Leicestershire based professional display company that came into being in 2008, and offer high quality displays across the UK for all occasions.

The company comprises a collective of likeminded pyrotechnic enthusiasts for whom fireworks are as much a part of their social lives as they are the core business of the company. The ultimate expression of this has to be building a fire-breathing dragon and “flying” it across a Harry Potter themed event!

We were also the first to pioneer the innovative “mine chaser” with the incredible aeroSPARX formation aerobatic display team. For us, firework displays are imagination made manifest, and the same care and attention is given to all our displays whether it be a huge 10-second “hit” or a 20 minute extravaganza.

Competition displays have become a staple for us in recent times, most recently gaining a prestigious 2nd place in the 2024 British Firework Championships in Plymouth, following on from our 3rd prize in the 2023 British Musical Firework Championships in Southport. The Fireworkers are delighted to be asked to perform at Firework Champions again in 2025, we are a family business established over 16 years ago by Steve and Sally Bates, working alongside our dedicated crew, we are a true firework family, our three sons have grown up with our business and all now work at The Fireworkers in varying roles.

At The Fireworkers, we all work together to support each other and the team, it will be Sally & Steve who will be designing the show putting their passion for design and show production into the display at firework champions, but our whole team have their own input into the display music and design.

Over the years we have performed thousands of displays, both nationally and internationally, we specialise in start up displays, and work alongside our clients to ensure a successful and profitable event. Our company is constantly evolving, we now facilitate public displays ourselves as well as always delivering a great display for our customers .

Over the years we have competed at the British Musical Firework Championships, The British Firework Championships, Firework Champions, assisted with displays overseas and delivered displays for high profile customers such as MKM and the Rod Stewart tour. I established Twilight Fireworks just prior to 2020 when I was 18 after I developed a passion for physics and theatre pyrotechnics while at school. Since then, my company has grown to offer a diverse range of services, including wedding fireworks, theatrical pyrotechnics, special effects and corporate events. The company caters for clients from wedding couples to celebrities.

This competition marks a significant milestone for us, and we are thrilled to begin our competitive journey alongside Firework Champions.

Our core team of six has been with us since inception and includes friends and family. We also work with other professional display companies as required to ensure that our clients receive the display best suited for their needs. Our dedicated and enthusiastic team is the cornerstone of our success, providing invaluable support throughout the year, especially during peak seasons like November and New Year's Eve. While we typically utilise the Cobra Firing System, we are particularly excited to showcase the capabilities of FireTek today.

We have also visited factories in Japan and China which has helped us import our own products. Pyrotex Fireworx began in 1999 and is a fine blend of experience, dynamic creativity and explosive enthusiasm - all fused together to make us first class when it comes to fireworks.

After winning the British Musical Firework championships in 2010 & 2011, we were selected to represent the UK in the Monaco International Music Firework Championship and are delighted to announce that we won both the judges and the public award.

Drawing on over 35 years of experience and knowledge, we have grown to be an international award-winning company and crowned “Champion of Champions” Also in 2023 Pyrotex were representing the UK in the world championships in Montreal Canada, And we are extremely proud to say we came away with ( Gold ) first place.

Since then we have been lucky enough to travel the globe in numerous prestigious competitions around the world. These competitions not only test the artistic talents of our designer’s but also the pyrotechnical ability of each team that participates along with the skills and expertise needed to put on an event of such magnitude. These competitions have also established us as the UK’s most awarded display company, this paired with our impressive list of achievements is something that we are very proud of.

We take great pride in every display, whether it’s a small wedding display, or a full-scale public festival with 200,000 spectators. Our team of professional firers are fully trained and experienced, meaning you can rest assured that we will design, rig and execute your firework display as safely as possible, at the same time as providing a sensational and spectacular finale to your event or big day.

AJ Pyrotechnics is a small family run firework company based in Kent but with a big reputation.

We were born out of the love and thrill of seeing fireworks and all the team who work here are passionate about what we do and what we deliver.

Formed in 2008, we were not initially active on the competitive display circuit, but MLE persuaded us to compete several years ago at the Stanford Hall Firework Champions and since then we have become regular competitors and look forward to the event each year.

Gaining experience from Firework Champions and by being in the company of some of the best firework display companies in the UK has raised our status and we are now well known on the National competition circuit having taken part in The British Championships at Plymouth and at the British Firework Musical Championships in Southport.

We were thrilled to win at Firework Champions at Arley Hall last year and this is our first closing display for the Firework Champions and we are so happy to be back at Belvoir Castle.

Drive

From London – From A1 North
Belvoir can be reached via the A1 North to Grantham. Take the A607 signposted to Melton Mowbray (You will see brown heritage road signs for the Castle from this turning.) After approximately 3 miles on A607 turn right through Denton and then to Woolsthorpe-by-Belvoir.

From Nottingham – A52 (towards Grantham)
By-pass Bingham on A52. After approximately 3 miles from Bingham turn right towards the village of Redmile (You will see brown heritage road signs for the castle from this turning.) Drive straight through Redmile to the crossroads. Drive over crossroads straight up the hill to the junction.

From Leicester – A607 to Melton Mowbray
From A607 heading towards Grantham, you will pick up brown heritage road signs for Belvoir Castle approximately 4 miles after the village of Waltham-on-the-Wolds. Follow these signs until you reach the castle.

TEAM 1

Star Fireworks is celebrating 54 amazing years in fireworks this year, and although they’re no strangers to Firework Champions, they’re delighted to be competing at Arley Hall for the first time. Star Fireworks teams work from several locations across the UK, firing shows for customers from the Isle of Wight right up to Scotland.

Their clients include premiership football clubs, rugby clubs, race courses, TV shows, blue chip companies such as BMW, Coca Cola and Deutsche Bank, as well as clients such as The Rolling Stones, The Red Hot Chill Peppers, Christina Aguilera and even the Royal Philharmonic.

Their work sees them firing from roof tops, barges, cruise terminals, castle walls as well as the TV sets for shows like This Morning and Blue Peter. They have provided the fireworks and special effects for the UK Big Brother TV show on Channel 4, Channel 5 and now ITV since 2002.

Their display has been specially designed for Hatfield House. The team are using Finale 3D design studio and the 'FireOne' firing system, and the same system used when they won the British Firework Championships 'Champion of Champions' a few years later. Their show includes some very special fireworks to a wonderful soundtrack.

Established in 2016 our Company has gone from strength to strength, having won our first Firework Champions competition in 2017 at Eastnor Castle.

In 2023, our Display Designer Ash Merrick took over at the helm and since then, we have performed our pyro mastery all over the UK and are looking forward to continued success in the future.

We offer bespoke firework displays, both musical and none musical, stage pyrotechnics and special effects for all events. Based in the Midlands, we have a crew with over 75 years experience behind us.

The company was established to provide amazing, astonishing and impressive displays for our customers, this has evolved from a combined 20+ years of experience working in the professional firework industry. Our passion and love for pyrotechnics is the driving force behind the formation of the company.

It’s easy to reach Arley Hall in Northwich, by train. Simply hop on a train to Knutsford station – then it’s a long way from the station! You’ll need a taxi from the station cab rank. Warrington’s and Northwich’s stations are a similar distance away.

What Happens On The Day

Now in its 20th year, right here at Stanford Hall – 4 great firework displays! Three of the UK’s best firework companies compete against each other with a 10-minute spectacular firework display choreographed to music followed by a breath-taking, huge finale display. The types of fireworks being used by the companies are unlike any material used for fireworks available to the general public, each company uses category 4 fireworks, which are only for professional use and the biggest available in the UK.

Imperial Lotus Southeast is a company based in the South of England with 20+ years of expertise, backed with history as well as Winners of the 2023 British Musical Fireworks Championships in Southport, Winners at Eastnor Castle 2024 and we will be competing at the British Musical Fireworks Championships Champion of Champions 2025. We believe in delivering exceptional service and a personalised experience for whatever the client's occasion may be.

Imperial Lotus Southeast have not only exhibited their pyrotechnic art across the whole of the UK, but Internationally they have been fundamental in display delivery in Malta, Italy, France and Spain. We have also visited factories in Japan and China which has helped us import our own products. Past clients for whom we have organised displays include: Reading & Leeds Festival, Celebrity Big Brother, Highclere Castle, Lulworth Castle, Sony, Samsung, The Bank of England, Thorpe Park’s Fright Night, Swindon Speedway (World Championship).

All our displays use the trusted Fireone firing system, accompanied with Finale 3D software which is used around the world. This gives us an opportunity to show off our creativity but, more importantly, provides us with the reliability and flexability that is absolutely crucial in this industry.

MLE Pyrotechnics was founded in 1999 just before the millennium and has become one of the leading companies in the firework industry.

Clients include the UK’s largest free bonfire night event as well as other key names such as Sainsbury’s, Oxford University, Karcher, Morrisons, the RAF, MTV and Ford.

MLE have been firing displays internationally since 2005. In 2014 we were awarded 1st prize in the St Brevin firework competition. In 2018 we were invited to fire a 10 minute pyromusical display at the 2018 Liuyang firework contest. Sister company, FireByWire Limited, manufactures digital computerised firing systems used for accurately setting sequences off at the press of a button. This technology is used worldwide by companies and is one of the most sophisticated systems available.
